Imphal, August 25 2020: The 25th Silver Jubilee Foundation Day of the Sangeet Natya Vidyalaya (SNV), Manipur was celebrated today at its office in Wangoi Keithel.

Speaking at the event, the president of SNV said that carefully protecting our art and culture will help in creating a peaceful society and also bridge the gap between different religions and communities.

Today's event was held on the theme of 'Restoration of peace and harmony through culture' while strictly adhering to social distancing norms and other SOPs issued by the Government to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

As part of its celebration, SNV visited the homes of various pung, singers and conch (moibung) artistes in Wangoi and other areas and presented them with tokens of appreciation.
