Imphal, June 25 2019: Cyber Crime PS Manipur arrested one Md Aslam of Kwakta Terakongsangbi today for calling many girls and threatening to abduct them.

According to a reliable source, a written complaint was lodged before Cyber Crime PS Manipur by a victim a few days back stating that an unknown individual had been calling her since June 17 and threatening her causing her untold mental disturbance and the caller had also threatened to abduct and rape her.

Accordingly, a regular FIR was registered by Cyber Crime PS and during the course of investigation, it was found that the accused used pre activated sim cards (black sim cards) for threatening numerous girls.

After hectic effort, the identity of the accused was established as one Md Aslam s/o (L) Md Suleiman of Kwakta Terakongsangbi who is working as a salesman at a hardware store located at Kwakta bazaar.

Based on their information, the IO of the case, Sub Inspector N Bhubonchandra rushed to the spot and arrested the accused with assistance from Moirang police today afternoon.
