IRCS distributes masks, RIMS contractors donate oxygen

Imphal, June 24 2021:
Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch (IRCS-MSB) distributed medical masks to sanitary workers of CRED, WUM and IMC on Thursday at the MG Avenue office premises of the IRCS-MSB.
The masks were donated by the manufacturer Mascot of Taiwan on the initiative of Manipuris in Taiwan and the said consignment sent through the offices of TIFA.
Informing that masks were also handed over to ASHA workers and AMWJU, IRCS-MSB said in a statement that it is also offering oxygen cylinder at nominal cost to those at home but requires oxygen support.
On the other-hand, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Contractors' Association (RIMS-CA) donated 10 jumbo size D-Type Medical Oxygen Cylinders to the Institute to help the patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a release, RIMS media advisor N Phillip Singh informed that Medical Oxygen Cylinders were received by RIMS director Prof A Santa Singh in the presence of deputy medical superintendent Prof Th Sachindeba Singh and officials of the Central Workshops.
The Contractors' Association was represented by M Manikanta Singh, Th Sana Singh, L Shantikumar Singh, Y Somorjit Singh, S Lokendro Singh, S V Constructions, L Gogon Singh, K Digen Singh, S Joychan-dra, M/S SS Construction & Supplier, RK Mangisana and Y Devendro Singh.
The Director thanked the members of the Association for contributing the medical oxygen cylinders during this difficult situation and stated that this will help to save many lives during the pandemic.
