Student union threatens to boycot DMU

Imphal, October 22 2020: Dhanamanjuri University will be boycotted if it doesn't release over all merit list of all candidates by October 24, said Pangal Students' Union of the varsity today.

There are alleged discrepancies in merit list which the varsity released earlier for admission to BA and BSc courses, said general secretary of the union, Sakil Maibam today at Manipur Press Club.

The merit list were released as per the students' scores in Class XII examinations, he said alleging some of some Departments are not giving the due reserved seats to OBC (MP-Meitei Pangal) category.

The varsity will be boycotted if the discrepancies are not corrected and over all merit lists of all Departments are released by October 24, he said.
