Churachandpur, November 21 2019: The Zomi Human Rights Foundation has condemned the reported cold-blooded murder of Dim Lun Mang on November 17 at Tuivel Zang village in Tonzang, Chin State, Myanmar by a member of an insurgent group.

"The cowardly act of murdering an innocent woman by an armed cadre of an insurgent group is tantamount to breaching of all ethical norms, against the spirit of revolution and violation of standard engagement protocol even in conflict situation," said the foundation that alleged that she was killed by multiple gun shots in front of school children.

The States and international bodies should work towards booking the perpetrator and ban the organisation he is affiliated to with immediate effect, it said.
