Imphal, August 21 2012: MLA of Saikul A/C Yamthong Haokip distributed 5 bundles of GI-sheets each under Tribal Development Department to 30 beneficiaries of his constituency today.

The GI-sheet distribution function was held at his residence at Mantripukhri.

During the function, MLA Yamthong Haokip said that the GI-sheets have been distributed to the beneficiaries under the initiative of Chief Minister O Ibobi in his humble endeavor of providing the same to poor persons of the state for construction of houses.

He further informed that even if beneficiaries in other constituencies do not get their rightful share, all the beneficiaries in his constituency would not be deprived of their rights.

He also said that appropriate actions would be taken up if any of the beneficiaries were found selling the GI sheets thus distributed in the market.
