DDAM celebrates foundation day

Imphal, August 20 2018: Disabled Development Association Manipur (DDAM) celebrated its 12th foundation day in a simple function held at its office at Oinam Sawombung Awang Leikai on August 18 .

Disabilities Commissioner Office Staff L Amrendra Sharma (National Awardee), DDAM Advisor Md Wahajuddin (National Awardee), Advisor Yendrembam Kiran Singh (National Awardee), SPDPO Manipur general secretary Hingba and DDAM & SPDPO vice-president N Iboton Singh attended the function as presidium members.

Speaking at the occasion, DDAM general secretary Md Yunush said that disabled persins faced many difficulties in their day to day life and is compounded by the slow delivery system.

Most of them were compelled to violent protest and agitation to get their rightful benefits.

He also highlighted the noble work extended by DDAM for the disabled persons which include organising residential cricket coaching camp and other sports with active participation from the members of DDAM.

He also said a mini library is thrown open in its n^foundationday for the benefit disabled persons.
