Tamenglong, October 19 2019: Rongmei Naga Youth Organization (RNYO), in a statement, termed the centenary celebration of Anglo-Kuki war with the erection of memorial stone in all Kuki villages in Nagas' domain and Meiteis' land as pseudo political creation attempting to establish Kukis' political rights designed to claim possession of the land as Kuki Nation.

In the statement, RNYO denounced declaration of Kuki Rebellion Day by State Govt as state level restricted day as tantamount to recognizing Kukis home land and giving away land rigts to refugees.

It further said that the claim of Kuki home land over Rongmei ancestral land shall never be accepted or tolerated and urged the Govt of Manipur to remove the erected Kuki memorial stone with the inscription "In defence of our ancestral land and freedom" in Nagas domain.
