No Covid cases for seventh day

Imphal, May 19 2022:
Even though 102 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, the state has reported no more Covid-19 positive cases for the last seven consecutive days and no more death cases for over three months.
The fatality toll remains at 2120 .
Till date, the virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people, out of which 61 had received second doses of Covid vaccine.
With no recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the number of active cases stands at three and all of them are in home isolation.
So far, the state has recorded 11,442 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The current month has reported 10 new positive cases.
The cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,37,230 (general population - 1,32,216 and CAPF personnel - 5,014).Number of recovered cases is 1,35,107 (general population - 1,30,100 and CAPF personnel - 5,007) and number of active cases is 3 (general population) .
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
A total of 44 D-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 2981 vaccine doses administered on Tuesday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 15,65,746, out of which 12,19,938 had received second doses and 92,278 had taken precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the test rate has improved to 5,19,412 tests per million population against the national average of 6,01,531 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent and cumulative positivity rate at 8.51 per cent.
