Newly selected candidates in different examinations conducted by MPSC (Manipur Public Service Commission), 2017 interacted with media persons at the State Institute of Journalism, Moirangkhom, Imphal, today.
Replying to the queries of media persons, Daniel Singh, one of the selected candidates of Assistant Professor (History) in MPSC Exam, 2017 said that this time the Commission's examination result is fair.
He pointed out that he has appeared in a number of examinations conducted by MPSC.
He has been in the teaching profession since 2008 and in spite of good performances in the beginning, he couldn't get through at every end stage of MPSC's last examinations.
This time the result was based on candidate's performance in interview, their academic record and came to know the difference very clearly which is very different from the last exams of the Commission, he added.
Another selected candidate of Assistant Professor (Manipuri), Gurumayum Bijoykumar Sharma stated that people used to say that they sold their paddy fields and lands in order to get Government jobs.
'My family doesn't own paddy fields as well.
So, I had no hope of getting the job.
But, this sudden selection in MPSC Examination gave me a chance to fulfil my dream for joining the academic line.
Lets support the present Government's anti-corruption measures', appealed Bijoykumar Sharma.
Md Heshamudin, selected in Political Sc said that the Government is not only fair but also doing something for the sake of education.
'Any sort of changes start from academic.
Let the students get true value of education and at the same time give the newly selected candidates a chance to render their knowledge for the betterment of the society as education is an asset', he said.
He urged the Government to provide offer forms and posting place soon for filling up the gaps.
Selected Public Relation Officer, District Information Officer and Assistant Publicity Officer of DIPR and other candidates also attended the interaction programme.
