Imphal, June 18 2018: A one day 'Yoga Instructional Symposium' based on the concept of train the trainers was organised by the Khuga Battalion, Red Shield Division today at the Young Paite Association Hall, District Churachandpur and at the border villages of Zoukhonou, Theigotang, Heingtam Khunao and C'Lancha to further commemorate 'Yoga Week' .

The 'Yoga Instructional Symposium' was aimed to train the core group of potential and voluntary instructors at each location.

The concept would not only imbibe confidence and provide permanent solution towards the cause but also ensure targeting maximum population to avail the benefits.

The symposium commenced with a lecture on 'Benefit of Yoga' wherein pamphlets and leaflets were distributed for better assimilation.

The lecture was followed by a movie on 'Ancient Vedic Yoga' concluding with practice session of Kriyas & Aasanas.

Post instructional conclave, an interactive session was organised to address various aspects of Vedic Yoga comprehensively.
