Bishnupur, March 17 2019: Loutongbam Sanarembi alias Monica Devi, who received a gold medal in MSc Botany in 2017 from Dhanamanjuri University was felicitated during a simple function held at Wangoo Terakhong Makha Community Hall today.

The felicitation programme jointly organised by three clubs of the area namely TYDSA clubs, TASCO club and UYDAT club, Terakhong was graced by retd Headmaster, Kumbi Government High School, Amom Nimai Singh; ex Pradhan, L Mangoljao Meitei; retd Assistant Teacher, A Nityai Singh; Terakhong GP Ward no 5, Member, L Ibungo Meitei; Ward no 8 Member, P Ibopishak Singh, social workers, Y Gopimohon; Seram Angousana and L Rameshwor Singh as the presidium members.

During the ceremony, the volunteers of the clubs and several individuals of the locality encouraged the gold medallist with a citation and simple gifts.

L Sanarembi is a daughter of L Shashimohon and L (o) Jati Devi from Wangoo Terakhong.
