Dimapur, October 16 2015 :
The proscribed NSCN (K) has cautioned "certain senior lawmakers" who are working against the former and asked them to "mend their ways" .
A press note made available to Dimapur based newspapers on Friday said that NSCN (K) has observed that "certain senior lawmakers in the incumbent government are pursuing subversive course" to force the outfit to capitulate and toe the line of particular political group which "propped them and vice-versa" .
NSCN (K) stated that the lawmakers had been in back door concurrence with Narendra Modi led Government to re-impose the ban on the outfit.
The "cohorts are actively collaborating" to tighten the noose and strangulate NSCN (K) economically and financially on premise that freezing the group's resources would coerce it to compromise on Naga sovereignty and also to reconcile with their "patronised faction" which is on the brink of accepting the Indian Constitution.
NSCN (K) said that there has been consistent advises by "Indianised Naga bureaucrats and technocrats" to hasten the decline of the outfit and it is becoming obvious now.
"The NSCN shall begin the process of selective obliteration of elements daring to effect demise of Naga struggle at the behest of Indian Government," stated the press note.
"At the critical juncture where NSCN is perilously confronting two international powers on both ends, choosing to combat the NSCN by these unholy cohorts is extremely unfortunate, to avoid head on collision, the NSCN issues this statement on the hope that anti-Naga leaders do mend their ways," pointed out the outfit.
