Imphal, July 16 2024: Major General SS Kartikeya, SM, General Officer Commanding, Red Shield Division Leimakhong chaired the Local Board of Administration (LBA) meeting held at Sainik School Imphal today.

Notably, the GOC is also the Chairman of LBA, Sainik School Imphal.

Meanwhile, Priya Kartikeya, Chairperson.

Family Welfare Organisation, Red Shield Division also graced the occasion.

Officiating Principal Lt Col SK Singh, presented a comprehensive brief regarding the recent achievements and infrastructure development of the institution.

The chairman addressed the cadets at the Vikram Batra Auditorium, where he motivated over 500 cadets, including 39 girl cadets, by sharing an insight about the glorious history and role of the Indian Army in national security.

On the occasion, Priya Kartikeya visited the Girls' Hostel and interacted with the girl cadets and teachers.

She also visited the Sainik Foundation School located within the Sainik School premises, where she planted a tree along with the children.
