Imphal, July 16 2019: People's Movement for Resurgent Manipur (PMRM) has appealed to all not to pass malicious comments on communal grounds in social media sites.

A press release issued by publicity secretary of PMRM urged all social media users to think of the consequences and check the facts before passing mean comments about one another.

It appealed all admins of facebook page or sites to maintain the page properly including scrutinising the comments written by its members.

PMRM also urged all users of the new media not to make fun of matters regarding traditional/cultural costumes of a particular community as it could also lead to conflicts in the future.

It also urged all authorities concernedto book the culprits who commit cyber crimes and serve suitable punishment to them.
