Free Medical Camp held at Oinam Hills

In its noble endeavour of reaching out to the rural mass in the interior parts of Manipur, Catholic Medical Centre, Korengei Imphal organised free medical camp at Oinam Hills village on Sunday under Purul Sub-Division in Senapati.
The free medical camp treated 250 patients from Oinam Hill village and neighbouring villages and medicines given to the patients free of cost.
The medical team comprises of 32 persons including the doctors, nurses and sisters treated the infirm rural people in a one-day medical camp.
From small infants to the oldest persons in the village (100 years of age) were treated by various specialists in the free medical camp.
The villagers have shown much cooperation and came forward to avail the opportunity extended by the CMC hospital.
Oinam Hills Youth and Students Organization (OYHSO), Onaeme Young People Forum (OYPF) and Tahpu Foundation collaborated in hosting the visiting medical team and extended manpower to assist the team in local arrangements.
The collaborators (OHYSO, OYPF and TF) and villagers expressed gratefulness to the management team, doctors, nurses and sisters of CMC, Koirengei, Imphal for choosing Oinam Hills village as a village to conduct medical camp.
The villagers expressed their profound gratitude to the team for this noble gesture carried out in the times of dire need where right after the hard work of harvesting paddy as they were given proper treatment along with free medicines thus saving lots of money.
