Kangpokpi, January 15 2020: In yet another suspected hit and run case along NH-2, a Theology student of Manipur Theological College, Mission Compound, Kangpokpi was found dead on the roadside between Keithelmanbi and Kalapahar, this evening.

The body has been deposited at District Hospital Kangpokpi.

According to the document found (PAN card) on him, the name of the deceased has been identified as H Ngamboithang Kipgen, s/o Seimang Kipgen of Pangjang village, Saikul, Senapati district.

Sources said that the deceased was supposed to complete his course in April 2020 .

A Pulsar bike was also reportedly found near the accident site.

Till the filing of this report, nothing has been ascertained about the incident but a hit and run case is suspected.
