Financial literacy programme held at Penaching village, Chandel

Chandel, September 13 2019: A one-day field level financial literacy programme was held at Penaching Community Hall, Penaching village in Chandel District under the aegis of Reserve Bank of India, Imphal, said a press release issued by chief of Penaching VA.

It said that prior to the programme, several trees were planted by the dignitaries in the vicinity of Penaching Community Hall adding that the programme was initiated with a welcome address from chief of Penaching village, Khuwpuh Komenshing Chara Moyon.

Among the dignitaries are Mary Tongpua GM RBI; Yaiphaba Longjam AC to DC Cdl; KJ Satyasai GM NABARD; Biswajit Khatlary AGM RBI; Sk Majumdar Sr Manager RBI; Ashutosh Sharma DM SBI Cdl; N Nimai Singh LDM SBI and SJ Moyon (Retd) AM RBI, added the statement.

It further said that a memorandum was submitted to Mary Tongpua GM RBI and Ashutosh DM SBI Cdl regarding the installation/opening of ATM Booth in Kapaam village cluster in Chandel district.

The programme concluded with words of gratitude from Rev Ch Bornishing, Pastor, Penaching Baptist Church.
