Toyota Hilux donated to War Foundation

Imphal, August 13 2022:
oyota Kirsloskar Motor and Punya Toyota donated a Toyota Hilux to 2nd World War Imphal Campaign Foundation during a function held at Punya Toyota showroom, Ghari Airport Road, Imphal on Friday.
In a release, Foundation's senior member Ashok Lairen informed that Toyota Kirlo-skar Motor specialist Ryosuke Oshida praised the role played by 2nd World War Imphal Campaign Foundation in the research and excavation of the battlefield sites.
He also said that the efforts of the Foundation could help Japanese a lot in their search of war history and casualties in Manipur.
Expressing his gratitude, Foundation's co-founder Ar-ambam Angamba said that event will be cherished forever.
He also thanked Toyota Kirloskar Motors MD Masakazu Yoshimura, vice presidents Tadashi Ashazuma, Varinder, Tanmay, Oshida and Punya Toyota, Manipur proprietor Andy Mangsatabam for believing in them and appreciating their humble efforts, the release mentioned.
It further conveyed that the function was also attended by Foundation's past president Rajeshwor Yumnam, secretary Nivaran Nongmaithem, senior member Ashok Lairen and Toyota Kirloskar Motors North East Area Operations head Tanmay Ghose.
Speaking on the occasion, Andy Mangsatabam explained that Toyota's core principle is to give back to the society by working towards harmonious, scalable community development through various initiatives.
"Through this donation drive, we are doing our bit to pay our respect to the soldiers, and the organisation's meaningful initiatives.
Under the given landscape and road conditions of the region, the iconic Hilux will be of great help to sustain the foundation's ongoing research without any disruptions.
This initiative further reinforces the commitment on contributing to the noble causes in every possible way and means towards building happier society surroundings us," he added.
