Many hurt in accident, KSO-KB condemns

Kangpokpi, December 11 2017:
Five persons, including four chiefs, who went to deliver the dead body of Thangkholet Chongloi (Chief of Tuidam village, who expired at Shija Hospital), were seriously injured when a vehicle of 4 th Assam Regiment, Moltuk Battalion collided with the Gypsy they were travelling, yesterday .
The injured victims have been identified as Chief of K Savumpa, Shongkhopao Haokip, Chief of Moltuk, Khailet Touthang, Chief of S Lamphei, Letsei Haokip, Chief of Molpibung Jamthang Haokip and brother of deceased Chief, Thongmang Chongloi .
The injured persons were rushed to Raj Medicity by the local civil organization in which some were reportedly in critical condition .
Meanwhile, KSO Khengjoi Block condemned the incident stating that the 4th Assam Regiment authority failed to turn up even to enquire the condition of the persons, till date .
It also appealed the authority concerned to initiate proper action over the Assam Regiment personnel who were involved in the incident and take proper care of the injured victims at the earliest.
