Bishnupur, October 11 2024: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has set up a new branch covering the areas from Thinungei Tiddim line to Torbung Bangla and surrounding areas of Moirang under its jurisdiction.

Fifteen office bearers were appointed to the newly formed COCOMI branch during a public meeting held today at Moirang Konjengbam Leikai Community Hall.

Notably, K Nanda Singh was appointed as the chairman, L Manglem as the vice chairman, K Jeeten as the convenor, K Goutam as the co-convenor (organisation), O Babita as the co-convenor (finance) and K Megha as co-convenor (publicity) among others.

The event was graced by Somorendro Thokchom, coordinator, COCOMI; Yumkhaibam Surjitkumar Khuman, media coordinator, COCOMI; YK Dhiren, assistant coordinator COCOMI, Joychandra Konthoujam, assistant coordinator COCOMI; Thiyam Sharatchandra, assistant coordinator COCOMI as presidium members.

Villagers from the surrounding areas of Moirang, Thinungei and Torbung Bangla attended the meeting.
