4th Inter School Thang-Ta Competition from October 24

Imphal, October 11 2019: Kanglei Indigenous Martial Art & Cultural Society (KIMACS) is organising 4th Inter School Thang-Ta Competition from October 24 to 25 at Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club, KIMACS publicity and information secretary Thangjam Suraj Meitei said that the competition aims at promoting the indigenous martial art form.

The competition will provide a common platform and enable sharing of knowledge between the students of the participating schools, he said inviting schools to participate in the event.

Winners will be encouraged with cash prizes (1st - Rs 15,000, 2nd- Rs 10,000 and third- Rs 7,000), certificate and mementos, he said.
