Many join Congress in Kshetrigao AC

Imphal, November 09 2024: In a major political development, many well known political figures and leaders of Bharatiya JanataParty (BJP), National People's Party (NPP) and Janata Dal (United) joined the Indian National Congress (INC) in Kshetrigao Assemblyconstituency today.

The new supporters of the Congress party were accorded a warm welcome and felicitated with the party shawl during a programme held at the residence of ex-MLA Md Amin Shah in Kshetri Bengoon today.

The political figures who joined the Congress party are-BJP Kshetrigao Mandal executive member MD Afzal Khan, JD(U) Kshetrigao Unit president Nongthombam Chandra; NPP Kshetrigao Unit executive member Alhaaz Mukhram, executive member MD Haazi Rashid Ali, executive member Miss Rukshar, JD(U) Kshetrigao Youth Wing vice president Angom Leishemba, JD(U) Kshetrigao Unit secretary organisation K Tomba, JD(U) Kshetrigao advisor Haazi Nashe and NPP Kshetrigao executive member MD Liyakat Ali.

The reception programme was attended by Md Amin Shah, MPCC general secretary (administration) S Jeeten and other prominent members of the party.
