MCC contributes to Tengnoupal COVID-19 Relief Fund

Moreh, June 09 2020: Moreh Consumer Club (MCC) has contributed a sum of Rs 50,000 to the COVID-19 Relief Fund opened for Tengnoupal district.

The sum of money was formally handed over to Deputy Commissioner, M Rajkumar at the latter's office by a team of the MCC which include its president, Seiboi Haokip; secretary, Benjamin Mate; vice president administration, Paojagin; vice president (external) Antyboy Meitei; finance secretary, Thomas and NP Jaiswal, who represented Moreh grocery shop owners.

MCC, on the occasion also urged the DC to reduce restriction in transportation of grocery and cosmetic items from Imphal.

Assuring that he will apprise the matter to the higher authorities, the DC informed that the State has allowed transportation of grocery items from Imphal to Moreh only on Fridays.
