Imphal, March 08 2018: All organisations/institutions whether run by a Government organisation or voluntary or non-Governmental organisation for hoiusing children in need of care and protection or children in conflict with law which are already registered in the name of the NGO/organisation/instritution under sub-section (1) of section 41 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and presently running Child Care Institutions (CCIs) ie children home/openm shelter/SSA/observation home etc should comply the provisions under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, conveyed a statement issued by Directorate of Social Welfare.

As per sub-section (2) of the section (41), apply for registration under the name, type and capacity of Child Care Institution ie particular location and type of Child Care Institutions and as per sub-section (6) of section (41), institution which has completed five years of register should apply for renewal of their registration, the statement said.
