Kakching, September 07 2019: Continuing its annual celebration of the birth anniversary of Hijam Irabot, Jana Neta Irabot Ningshing Lup Kakching will be organising the 123rd birthday at Irabot park in Kakching Keithel on September 30 .

A press release issued by president of the Lup stated that "Kshetri Irabot Memorial Award For Clean, Green and Healthy Kakching-2019" will be presented to the ward or locality under Kakching Municipal Council, which maintains a clean environment, proper drainage system and takes care of the trees and plants.

The award committee will be conducting an inspection across the district till September 25, to find out which area fulfils the necessary criteria for the award.

Kshetri Irabot memorial Award for Clean, Green and Healthy Kakching-2019, which will be presented every year, is donated by the family of late ex-MLA of Kakching AC as well as the lifetime president of the Lup who also made a huge contribution in establishing the Irabot park, it said.

The award includes Rs 5000 in cash, citation and gift.
