GoI silence on NSCN-IM order to take permission from them while implementing contract work

Imphal, August 05 2017: Armed group presently engaging in peace talk with the government of India NSCN-IM has directed all concerns to take prior permission from the NCSN-IM if any contractors desirous of executing 11th Phase (Manipur Sector) PMGSY works.

The statement said that works of 11th Phase (Manipur Sector) PMGSY shall monitored and implemented in the following manners: 1.Only the recommended contractors may apply for tender for smooth And better implementation/ execution of tender/work.

.2Tender bidding should be within the scheduled rate or above.

.3Contractors are to apply tender only within their own district.

.4Any Contractors desirous of applying in another district shall be first take Prior permission from the Contractors Association of the district he/she wishes to apply.

The outfit in a statement threaten dire consequences if violated the rules.

Mention may be made that the cease fire is not openly extended to the state of Manipur and the manner at which the NSCN-IM releases the order showed that the NSCN-IM is running a parallel government in Hill area of Manipur and the India government is not taking up any action for such order.
