MNP condemns Neiphiu's statement

Imphal, October 04 2015:
Meitei Nationalist Party (MNP) vehemently condemned the interference of Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland Neiphiu Rio in the affairs of Manipur.
The Neiphiu has urged the Prime Minister not to give his consent to the three Bills which were recently passed in the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
In a statement, MNP founder president B Angousana Sharma alleged that Naga People's Front (NPF) is an ally of BJP in the Centre and so BJP is using its own political partner to prevent the three Bills from converting into
an Act.
MNP asked the BJP Manipur State to clarify whether it will take up the matter in writing with the Centre.
The MNP further condemned the deliberate and stoic silence maintained by the three MPs from Manipur of Indian National Congress over issue and demanded them to raise the issue in the Parliament.
Angousana appealed to the political leaders of any other State to stop involving in unnecessary activities to interfere in the internal affairs of Manipur.
