NSUC fetes meritorious students of Chandel

Chandel, June 04 2014: On the occasion of its foundation day celebration held at Mini Indoor Stadium, Japhou Bazar today, Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) has feted meritorious students of Chandel district.

Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Th Chittaranjan Singh IAS and CNPO President, Ws Kanral Anal attended the function as Chief Guest and President respectively. Founder President of NSUC, Upa Ng.

Gilbert Monsang, CNPO Speaker SH Manglem Monsang and Principal of ACI, L Wolring were also among other dignitaries who were present on the occasion.

During the function, in all 9 individuals including three students who secured 82.2 to 88 percent marks in the HSLC, four successful students who secured 81.2 to 95 percent marks in CBSE and COHSEM examination 2014 and two successful candidates of MPSC exam 2014 were honoured with gifts.

The two successful candidates of MPSC exam-2014 who were feted are ST Riithung, son of ST Behring of Duthang village and Paul Nangsha, son of Moheru Nangsha.

ST Riithung has been selecred for MFS post while Paul Nangsha for the post of Junior MCS.
