Medical assessment camp conducted

A day-long Medical Assessment Camp, 2013 was conducted under Saitu Gamphojol Block at C.C.Hall, Gamnom Sapormeina today.
The camp was conducted by the Office of Deputy Inspector of Schools, Saitu-Gamphajol, Sadar Hills, Manipur under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
More than 50 patients avail the facilities of the camp.

Rajen Singh, Optharmologist, Bishnupur Hospital, Imphal; Hamom Maria, Special Teacher, MR and L.Preeti, Inclusive Education Care Giver wholeheartedly engaged in examining the patients.
Inaugurating the camp as Chief Guest, Seikholet Singsit, Deputy Inspector of Schools/DDO, Gamnom Sapormeina, emphasised on the importance and necessity of good health among the young learners and their parents.
"When student are physically and mentally not well it will be wrong on the part of their parents to have a big dream from their wards.
Likewise, when parents are not physically as well as mentally well enough if will be very much difficult to support their children in their educational career", he said, adding that only good education is not enough to make the society develop, it also needs good health which gives sound mind and body.
