Bishnupur, August 02 2024: An arts and cultural programme titled 'Guru gi Charanda' to pay homage to the Gurus was held today at Indira Sangeet Sanglen Phubala.

The programme was held in connection with the 19th foundation day celebration of the Arts And Culture Traditional Institute, Phubala which was established with an aim to encourage the budding artistes of the region and to promote arts and culture of Manipur.

State Kala Awardee Leimapokpam Lakpati Singh; Sangeet Kala International Awardee Akoijam Shobhachandra Singh; eminent Theatre Director Sarungbam Biren Singh and Laishram Somendro Singh graced the occasion as the presidium members.

As a part of the programme, the artistes of the Arts And Culture Traditional Institute, Phubala presented Sankirtana on Guru Bhojon.
