Chandel, April 02 2021: Assam Rifles paid a visit to Orphanage Home, Hnatham village, Chandel on the occasion of Good Friday, today.

The Chandel Battalion along with children of the orphanage home paid their respect on this occasion, said PRO IGAR(S).

During the programme, DIG, Headquarters 26 Sector Assam Rifles interacted with the children of Orphanage Home.

A Total of 53 children and 13 staff members were present during the visit.

Daily use items and study material were distributed to the children, it added.

It may be mentioned that Chandel Battalion of Assam Rifles had adopted the Orphanage Home and provided many facilities to the children including Rs 26 Lakh worth of living Shelter.
