KNF (Nehlun) refutes report

Reacting to the news report published in some local dailies on December 22 regarding the arrest of Seikhothang Kipgen s/o Lunkhulet Kipgen of Tuibong and Seikholen Vaiphei of Khenjang village in Churachandpur district by security forces on charged of being its cadres, Kuki National Front (Nehlun) has clarified that the two persons have no connection with the outfit in any away and termed the report as totally 'baseless' and 'unacceptable' .
In a statement, the outfit said Seikhothang Kipgen was found to be a retired soldier of Indian Army who has been managing his source of family income with a van own by himself through reserve/hire system.
Furthermore, the outfit clarified that one of its cadres namely Lunminthang Kipgen was not assigned any duty or army number to become an active member of KNF (Nehlun) as he himself thought unfit to serve the Kuki Nation in its political movement after he reached the base camp of the organization in June last year and so his activities are not recognized under any
circumstances.
