Imphal, November 30 2019: Kanglei Khongyang Thijinyon (KKT) Imphal in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry, DMC Science, DM University, organised the 1st National conference on 'Science and Technology for society', at the campus of the Department of Chemistry, DM University today.

Dean, Physical and Mathematical Science, Manipur University, Professor N Rajmuhon Singh, DMCOSTA, Professor N Ibotombi Singh, KKT Imphal Director Dr Jaideva Singh and Principal of DMC Science Professor L Jadu Singh attended the event as the chief guest, guests of honour and president respectively.

Speaking at the event, Professor N Rajmuhon said that it is the role and responsibility of all the citizens to save and protect mother earth.

To bring out the significance of Nation First, one needs to develop oneself first and be properly aware of one's own culture, tradition, history etc, he opined.

Education has a big role in today's society based on knowledge, he said, adding that only education will be able to empower the young generations.
