Imphal, August 31 2011: Troops of 10 DOGRA apprehended one KYKL cadre identified as Satya Dev Sharma @ Tony (27) of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai last night during routine patrolling on the Leimakhong-Khurkhul road.

A press release issued by the PIB (DW) stated that one arrested cadre was found moving suspiciously on the road and tried to flee on being challenged by the security forces.

He revealed that he was an active KYKL cadre and worked under S/S Maj Somendra of KYKL.

The apprehended cadre was handed over to Imphal West PS.

In an another operation, 5/9 GR with Kumbi Police Cdos apprehended another KYKL cadre from Saiton.

He has been identified as Sanjoy Sagolsem @ Bhaiya @ Raju @ Joy (27) of Terakhong Kumbi in District Bishenpur.

He has been handed over to Bishenpur PS, the press release added.
