SDSA office bearers elected

Senapati, February 28 2018:
The election of the Senapati District Student's Association (SDSA) was held at NPO Building conference Hall, Senapati DHQs today.
Karaiba Francis, Abraham Th and A Pfokrehrii Khrasi conducted the election process as Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners respectively in the presence of NPO observers.
Kaikho Hopeson Mao before electing to SDSA president was the acting SDSA general secretary and vice-president SDSA.
The election of the apex student's body was initiated through the secret ballot voting system casted by five different major tribes of Senapati including Mao, Maram, Poumai, Thangal and Zeliangrong.
According to the SDSA Election Commission, the house elected Pung Mark as general secretary, Hueowalung James as vice president, L Maningba Chawang as finance secretary, former MKS president Th Luikang as Assembly speaker.
Meanwhile, other the vacant posts will be duly filled in the coming days, informed the commission.
The new president will replace the outgoing president , Pungdi Celestine and will run the SDSA office for a tenure of two years 2018-2020 .
The official oath taking ceremony of the new executive election will be held on March 3 at SDSA office and would be administered by NPO president Solomon Arow.
