Lecture on tricolour, mock test held

Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (South) organised an awareness lecture on Indian National Flag at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Umathel in Kakching district on Saturday to create awareness about the National Flag as part of "Har Ghar Tiranga" and "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" .
According to PRO IGAR (S), the students numbering 60 were elaborated on importance of our National Flag as the symbol of sovereignty, independence, unity and awe-inspiring national pride.
The interaction was also a step towards creating a positive environment in the region, the PRO added.
On the other-hand, Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted mock physical and written test for aspirants in the ongoing pre-recruitment training to join Indian Armed Forces at Company Operating Base Sawombung (Chingarel) and Company Operating Base Yaingangpokpi in Imphal East district on Saturday.
In another release, the PRO IGAR (S) informed that the mock tests were conducted to create awareness among the youth about the types of tests and kind of effort required to pass the physical and written exam.
The event enabled the individuals to assess their own potential and standing along with identifying the aspects in which they need to bring improvement for future.
A total of 60 candidates, including seven girls, appeared for the physical test.
