CADA, Meira Paibi stage protest

Bishnupur, December 29 2020: Expressing the need for a retrial at a higher Court following the recent acquittal of former ADC Chairman, Lhukhosei Zou who was arrested on the charge of drug smuggling, the Keirenphabi Chanura Leishem Lup Meira Paibi and Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) Keirenphabi Unit jointly organised a sit in protest at Keirenphabi Bazar shed in Bishnupur district, today.

CADA urged that the case be taken to a higher Court so that all guilty can be nailed irrespective of their status or position.

Voicing the same demands, another sit in protest was also staged today at Moirangkhunou in Bishnupur district by members of Moirangkhunou Makha Leikai Meira Paibi and Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) Moirangkhunou Unit.
