Imphal, January 29 2015 : To promote science education in the hill districts of Manipur, Manipur Science and Technology Imphal in association with Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India is organizing 'Residential Workshops on Low Cost hands on Experiment'.

The workshop will be held in two phase.

The first workshop is scheduled from February 25 to 28 and the second from March 11 to 14 at Youth Hostel, Khuman Lampak.

According to a issued by Manipur Science and Technology Council, the workshop is open to science graduate teachers teaching in schools of hill districts in Manipur.

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of first come first serve basis.

The Council will take care of food, lodging and travel expenses of the participants.

Application for participating in the workshops is open till February 16 .

Information on the workshop is available at the Council Office and Directorate of Education (S), Lamphelpat.
