Tamenglong, January 29 2013: The Zeliangrongpui Naga Customary Research Society, Tamenglong celebrated Chaga- Ngai (War Festival) at Happy Village Tamenglong Ward No.IV on January 28 .

Speaking on the occasion, Ngamthuiyang Pamei, Chairman of Zeliangrongpui Naga Customary Research Society, Tamenglong stated that if we lost our tradition and custom no one will recognize or respect us, rather people will mock at us.

During the celebration, love songs were sung and prayer sessions were held for prosperity of Zeliangrong community. Disuang Pamei, Chairman of Old Tamenglong graced the celebration as Guest of Honour.

Lungkiang Pamei, Chiuluangamang Guan, Liangbuiyang Newmei and Kadijin Gangmei were also present and spoke on the occasion as resource persons.
