ZYF convenes emergency meeting

Imphal, December 28 2013 : Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF)-Assam, Manipur & Nagaland (AMN) has convened a meeting at its head office on 3rd January, 2014 at 12:30 pm to discuss issues related to non compliance on the part of Longmai (Noney) village to give written clarification and justification within the seven days given in connection with the incident which occurred at Longmai (Noney) on 12th December, 2013 midnight.

In a statement, Information and Publicity Secretary of ZYF (AMN) Jaomuna Kamei said that the intimidation for giving clarification and justification over the December 12 midnight had been served to Longmai (Noney) village authority in accordance to the resolution adopted during an emergency meeting of the Front held on 19th December, 2013.The Zeliangrong Youth Front took the incident very seriously as it is a direct challenge to the people common cause, a great threat to Zeliangrong people in particular and Nagas in general.

Therefore, concrete decision and resolutions will be taken and adopted during the January 3 meeting as a single village cannot challenge the ZYF organization which represents for the entire Zeliangrong community.
