RLP Condemn

Imphal, September 27 2011:
The Rongmei Lu Phuam (RLP) Assam, Manipur and Nagaland condemned the incident of damaging one Maruti Van and one Alto Car and assault of the unsuspected families of Pastor/Reveend Mansi Gangmei and Reverend Apan Panmei by local people of Moidangpok, truck drivers and handyman after a false rumour of killing a driver and handymen injured at Kaimai on National Highway number 37 on September 10 .
The Rongmei Lu Phuam also expressed concerned over the state apathy towards the hill people.
Such senseless violence committed on the innocent travelers and the State apathy towards such incidents is counter productive a press release of the RLP also mentioned.
The victims submitted complaint petition to the Chief Minister on September 13 for taking appropriate action and compensation for the damage to the vehicles and properties and besides filed report at Patsoi Police Station but there has been no evidence of any action to bring justice so far the release also added.
The RLP warned that if the authorities failed to respond to the demands for redressal within five days from today will launch agitation and the State Government should held responsibility of any untoward incidents occurs during the agitation.
