Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory to perform at Intl Mime Fest

Imphal, August 27 2019:
A six member troupe of Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory Imphal will leave for Hyderabad tomorrow to take part in the International Mime Festival.
The troupe will present a mime drama titled, "Crashed but alive", directed by Yumnam Sadananda on August 29, said a press release issued by the director.
It stated that the festival is organised by Culture and Language Department, Telangana Government in association with Indian Mime Academy.
Y Sadananda will be speaking as a resource person during a workshop which will be held as part of the festival, it added.
It further stated that an artiste of Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory, who is speech and hearing impaired, M Inaoton will be showcasing his talents in the festival.
Various mime organisations and groups from different parts of the country as well as abroad will be participating in the festival, it added.
