Imphal, October 26 2019: Mantripukhri and Thoubal Battalions of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised security coordination meets at Sawombung and Upper Khoripok Company Operating Bases (COB).

The security forums were attended by village Pradhans, Meira Paibis, Ward Councillors and representatives of local youth clubs, said PRO IGAR (South) in a statement today.

During the meets, the locals were sanitised and updated on current situation existing in the area of responsibility.

Measures to counter illicit activities in the areas and future action plan in respect of civic action projects like medical camps, recruitment in Assam Rifles and Army and career counselling for youth were also discussed during the meet, said AR.
