IRE to hold convocation ceremony

The Institute of Rural Education (IRE), a prominent College of Teacher Education, will host its first Convocation Ceremony for the BEd trainees of the 2021-23 batch on August 30 .
The ceremony will take place at the IRE Auditorium in Wangjing.
At a press conference held today at IRE College, Principal Dr Rajivkumar Narengbam emphasized the significance of the event.
"Students are the future's pillars," he stated.
Training teachers is crucial as they will shape the future of many students.
This convocation is to motivate our graduating BEd trainees and acknowledge their hard work, he added.
The ceremony will honour the 11th batch that is 2021-23 of BEd graduates with certificates of appreciation.
As this is the first convocation to be held by the institution, the event will also recognize graduates from previous batches.
Notable figures attending the event include Prof Premlata Maisnam, Dean of the School of Education at Manipur University and Executive Member of ERC, NCTR Bhubaneswar; Prof H Manoranjan, Principal of Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal; and Dr Rajivkumar Narengbam, Principal of IRE College of Teacher Education.
