Imphal, June 25 2019: Two barrack type quarters for teacher, which were constructed by Autonomous District Council (ADC) Sadar hills under Special Plan Assistance of the Central Government, were inaugurated today.

14-Tintong Laijang District Council Constituency Member of ADC Sadar Hills, L Johny Gangmei inaugurated the quarters in Bijang village and L Hengjol under Kangpokpi district one after the other.

Sadar Hills Chiefs Association secretary Paotong Doungel was also present in the inaugural ceremony.

The quarter which was built for teachers of Bijang UJB School was constructed under SPA 2015-16 fund while the L Hengjol UJB School quarter was constructed under SPA 2017-18.Speaking at the inaugural function as the chief guest, ADC Member L Johny Gangmei stated that Sadar Hills ADC constructed the barrack type quarters after considering the future of the students.

He appealed to all the villagers and teachers not to neglect the quarters and take proper care of them.
