Imphal, February 22 2020: Member of Manipur Legislative Assembly, K Leishiyo has been awarded Ideal Youth MLA Award.

He was among 16 lawmakers, including one from Mizoram, who were selected for the award during the 10th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today.

It may be noted that K Leishiyo was elected from Phungyar Assembly Constituency on Naga People's Front ticket.

The award was sponsored by the Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad Foundation.

Apart from the Ideal Youth MLA Award, the foundation also gave away other aw-ards - Ideal Speaker Award and Ideal CM Award etc.

The 10th Indian Students' Parliament, which started on February 20 will end tomorrow.
