Imphal, November 21 2019: Hill Tribal Council (HTC) has said that the alleged case of molestation of a woman by 12 AR personnel was a 'misunderstanding' and the matter has been solved amicably.

A statement of the HTC today, clarified that the frisking and checking of the woman was carried out by lady AR personnel and not male personnel.

The matter has been solved as per Kuki custom and tradition with both parties holding a meeting on November 20 .

The 12 AR under the supervision of OC S Khudengthangbi has agreed to follow the judge's order.

The FIR lodged at the Moreh Police Station now stands null and void, it said.
