Site inspected to build Judicial Academy

A team of Judges and Govt officials led by Chief Justice of Manipur, Ramalingam Sudharkar inspected a site, which is reserved to develop an eco-park, at CobartPat near Omba Garden, Takmu in Moirang AC, Bishnupur district, to build a 1st Judicial Academy in Manipur, reports our correspondent.
As reported, the said Judicial Academy, which will function as National Law University, will be built under the 14th Finance commission on an area spanning over 50 acre of land.
Later, the team also inspected Omba Garden as part of their tour.
The Chief Justice of Manipur Ramalingam Sudharkar was accompanied by Judge LS Jamir; Judge Kh Nobin; Judge Mushtaran; Registrar General A Guneshwore Sharma; MLA Moirang AC P Sharatchandra Singh; District Session Judge, SP Bishnupur and other officials in the inspection tour.
Speaking to the media persons, Chief Justice Ramalingam Sudharkar said that the team is inspecting the area to develop infrastructure for Judicial Academy and National School of Law in Manipur.
