Soibam Kanchan Chanu to represent Manipur in FMI-2017

For the first time in history of Manipur, Soibam Kanchan Chanu, was crowned Femina Miss India Manipur 2017 during a final screening held at Guwahati on March 19, 2017 will represent Manipur in the upcoming FBB Femina Miss India 2017 which will be held in Mumbai.
Speaking to the media persons at the Robert Naorem Studio and Academy, Uripok Khoisnam Leikai, Imphal, Robert Naorem said that in order to push the talent from every corner of the state and give them the platform to represent the state in the biggest pageant of the country, FBB Femina Miss India 2017 in Mumbai, Miss Manipur Queen 2017 was held at Classic Grande Imperial Conference Hall organised by Robert Naorem Studio and Academy, on March 16, 2017 where the top 3 were selected and Soibam Kanchan Chanu was one of them.

As Soibam Kanchan Chanu has been crowned Femina Miss India Manipur 2017, she will represent the state in Mumbai grand finale of FBB FMI 2017, he added.
Robert also said that all the expenses incurred for Soibam Kanchan Chanu will be taken care of by Robert Naorem Studio and Academy while the crowning of the FMI Manipur 2017 will be held at Kolkata on March 28, 2017 and after the crowning Soibam Kanchan Chanu will be trained and groomed by renowned choreographers of the industry till the event in month of June 2017 .
Robert further said that Anmol Dhawan, Th Strela and Danube Kangjam who were also crowned as the Manipur State Icons will promote state tourism, election related and promotion of different works of the state under the aegis of Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Chief Electoral Officer.
Robert Naorem also urged the citizens and people of the state to support and shoulder responsibility while promoting such events in the future.
